Become a Superhero for kids in hospital
In collaboration with Children’s Hospital Foundation, Voyageur Technical is thrilled to announce the upcoming Annual Suspended Superheroes event, scheduled for October 4, 2024. Building on the success of last year's event, to which the RCMP Emergency Response Team and Winnipeg Police Service Tactical Support Team provided on-rope ‘superheroes’, we are excited to once again create an opportunity to bring cherished memories to children and their families spending their Halloween in the hospital.
This event goes beyond its festive nature; it fosters a strong sense of community and belonging among children and families. The timing aligns seamlessly with the holiday spirit, providing children with an unforgettable experience during a challenging time.
The proceeds collected from this event will go towards Child Life programming (like Music Therapy, therapeutic play, and the Library Program) to provide comfort for families facing difficult times.
