Paige's Story

At just two years old, Paige unexpectedly experienced respiratory distress and needed to be rushed to the Children’s Hospital. The talented and expert emergency staff revived our little Paige twice before putting her onto a ventilator, and admitting her to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). 

In the days that followed, Paige was well cared for by the compassionate staff of the Children’s Hospital PICU. Eight weeks after we arrived, Paige succumbed to her fatal diagnosis of Leigh’s syndrome. 

With your generosity, through this fundraiser, we are hoping to share our gratitude to the PICU staff, and our appreciation for this unit of the Children’s Hospital. It is our intention to help raise funds so that other children and their families receive the same care and compassion that we received when we needed it most.
