I'm raising money in support of Suspended Superheroes!
I signed up for the Suspended Superheroes event because I believe every child deserves access to quality healthcare and a chance to thrive. Being passionate about child health, I saw this as an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of children and families facing difficult times.
For the last 3 years, I've been the one and only Winnipeg Webhead. Showing up at birthday parties and community events, nothing is more heartwarming than being the hero a sick kid needs to keep fighting. It brings me such joy making a little kid's day, but some kids I see are going through things no kids should have to go through. 3 years ago I met one of the bravest l kids I ever knew. Through a series of events I got the chance to be the Spider-Man that made his dreams come true. His inspiring bravery lives on with me every day. I was given the power to do this. And with Great Power, there must also come Great Responsibility.
By participating and rallying support, I'm contributing to funding vital research, programs, and facilities that will improve the lives of children in need.
Together, we can be the superheroes these children deserve.

About
In collaboration with Children’s Hospital Foundation, Voyageur Technical is thrilled to announce the upcoming 3rd Annual Suspended Superheroes event, scheduled for October 4th, 2024.
Building on the success of last year's event, to which the RCMP Emergency Response Team and Winnipeg Police Service Tactical Support Team provided on-rope ‘superheroes’, we are excited to once again create an opportunity to bring cherished memories to children and their families spending their Halloween in the hospital.
This event goes beyond its festive nature; it fosters a strong sense of community and belonging among children and families. The timing aligns seamlessly with the holiday spirit, providing children with an unforgettable experience during a challenging time.
Proceeds from this event will go towards Child Life programming (like Music Therapy, therapeutic play and the library program) to provide comfort to families in hospital.
