Funds raised through this tournament will be split equally between two urgent priorities at HSC Children's Hospital:
CK5 Ward - Equipment & Furniture
HSC Children's Hospital is renovating CK5 - the Cancer, Blood Disorders and Transplant ward - with construction planned for completion this September. Your gift will help outfit the ward's 15 patient rooms and family spaces with TV's, IV stands, sleeper sofas for families staying overnight, playroom furniture, and other essential items that bring comfort and dignity during some of the hardest moments of a child's life.
PROMISE - Pediatric Cancer Research
PROMISE (Pediatric Research in Oncology in Manitoba: Innovation, Science, Excellence) is a research theme at the Children's Hospital Research Insitute of Manitoba (CHRIM). Every child diagnosed with cancer in Manitoba receives treatment at HSC Children's Hospital, and PROMISE researchers are working to improve outcomes, advance new therapies, and give kids better chances - right here at home.
Through this event, Conquest is bringing together employees and friends to help support sick children and their families. Your generosity helps fund leading-edge medical equipment, improved healthcare spaces, child and family-focused programs, and groundbreaking research - all at Manitoba's only children's hospital.
