Every year, thousands of children from Manitoba (as well as Nunavut, Northwestern Ontario and parts of Saskatchewan) have MRIs at Winnipeg’s Children's Hospital.
Many of these children receive sedation for their MRI, as the imaging requires them to lay perfectly still to get high-quality results. Until recently, kids have also had the option to watch a movie with special MRI-compatible goggles!
Sadly, our movie equipment is very old and is no longer working. We need to raise approximately $100,000 to replace them.
I am personally trying to raise $10,000 to contribute to this goal! If you, or anyone else you know, would like to contribute to this worthwhile project for the kids of Manitoba, please consider donating!
