Let's kick off summer with a fun carnival in support of Ireland Gault, the Children's Hospital 2026 Champion Child!
The idea for this fundraiser came together in an unexpected way. After missing out on a Willy Dogs stand in auctions a few times, we decided to book one for a summer kickoff event. In the process, we learned that Ireland is the daughter of Willy Dogs owners, Will and Courtney Gault. Knowing how generous and community-minded their family is, the connection felt a little serendipitous. As families with our own connections to the Children's Hospital, we felt inspired to support Ireland and help raise funds in her name.
When Ireland was a baby, she was diagnosed with profound hearing loss in both ears. At just 10 months old, she became the youngest child in Manitoba to receive bilateral cochlear implants. One month later, she heard her parents voices for the very first time - a life-changing moment made possible through the incredible care, innovation, and expertise of our Children's Hospital.
Today, Ireland is a happy, active, and determined young girl who loves gymnastics, singing, swimming, and being a big sister. Her story is a powerful reminder of the life-changing impact the Children's Hospital has on children and families everyday.
Please join us on June 24th for an evening of bouncy castles, obstacle courses, carnival games, a petting zoo, cotton candy, mini donuts and of course hot dogs!
We kindly ask attendees to consider a $20 donation per person, which includes a hot dog, drink, and chips, along with plenty of carnival fun. 100% of all funds raised will go directly to the Children's Hospital in support of Ireland and other children like her.
We are honoured to support Ireland and help ensure more children and families receive the exceptional care they need.

Let's make anything possible.
You can help a sick or injured child with a gift to Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. Since 1971, with incredible donor support, Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba has raised more than $265 million to help children get the best care experience possible by funding leading edge equipment, improved health care spaces, and child and family-focused programs in hospital at HSC Children's Hospital - Manitoba's only Children's Hospital. The Foundation also supports more than 300 world-class pediatric medical researchers, at our Children's Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba, involved in nearly $20 million of research and clinical trial activity each year with the goal of ground-breaking cures and clinically proven supports for pediatric care in Manitoba and around the world.
