Hello & Happy Holidays!
If you've found your way here after receiving one of our Candy Cane Wishes, then our little bit of Christmas magic is working!
We're Chloe and Molly, two sweet sisters in festive red coats, and you?ve been gifted a Christmas wish during one of our holiday outings. Our goal is to raise funds for the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba and help kids who need a little extra love and care this holiday season.
Our family tradition began when our girls were just two and three years old. What started as a simple way for our tiny candy cane messengers to spread kindness has grown into something truly special. We hoped that through one small act of kindness, our girls could learn that Christmas isn?t only about getting presents. It?s about giving, sharing joy, and being grateful for what we have.
As parents, we feel deeply thankful that our children are healthy and safe at home each Christmas. We know that not every family is so fortunate. Many children spend their holidays in the hospital, and that reality reminds us why we do this each year despite how busy the holiday season is with two young toddlers.
Some years, we've even offered the girls a little break, thinking they might be ready to slow down. But without hesitation, they insist on helping the 'sick kids.' Their excitement reminds us that this isn?t just about handing out candy canes wishes, that it's become a true family tradition. Watching them give so freely and care so deeply brings us together, and we couldn't be prouder of our two kind little girls whose hearts always think beyond themselves.
This marks our fifth year of fundraising, and it continues to be one of our most meaningful holiday traditions so thank you for helping us keep the magic going in any small way that you can ?
Each year, with the help of generous strangers, friends, family, and local organizations, we?ve seen this little idea turn into something truly meaningful and here's what we've raised together so far:
- 2021 ? $928.00
- 2022 ? $1,556.00
- 2023 ? $1,860.00
- 2024 ? $3,254.15 (smashing our $1,500 goal!)
This year, the girls are once again donning their red coats, spreading cheer, and sharing Candy Cane Wishes in hopes of continuing this small-but-mighty tradition of giving. Our 2025 goal remains at $1,500, but we?re hopeful we can surpass it again (and maybe last years) with your support.
How You Can Help:

With that, two little girls in red coats are once again handing out wishes, hope, and cheer this Christmas one candy cane at a time. ?
